Job summary

Momnt Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cloud & Platform Architect in a hybrid role based in Sandy Springs, GA (onsite 2 days/week) or Chicago, IL.

You will own and operate the cloud platform, driving IaC, security, and cost governance while leading modernization efforts across microservices, serverless, and containers. You will directly build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, observability stacks, and platform tooling, ensuring reliability with defined SLAs, DR plans, and strong incident

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud/platform experience.
• Expertise with AWS CDK to build production infra.
• Experience with multi-account AWS environments and IAM governance.
• Experience with ECS/EKS, Lambda, EventBridge, and event-driven architectures.
• Proven CI/CD automation and internal platform tooling.
• Strong incident response, DR planning, and SLA ownership.
• Terraform experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure AWS infrastructure with IaC.
• Lead platform modernization via microservices, serverless, and containers.
• Oversee multi-account landing zones, IAM governance, and network design.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment frameworks.
• Own SLAs, uptime targets, and post-mortems.
• Define DR strategies, RTO/RPO targets, and testing cadences.
• Enforce security controls (IAM, encryption, SOC2) and FinOps.
• Manage day-to-day AWS administration (VPCs, backups, monitoring).
