Job description

Lead Cloud Operations DBA NoSQL (Finance)

***The location for this position is Addison, TX (Position allows full remote work from anywhere in Texas)***

What will I be doing?

Support various design, automation, and cloud migration initiatives. Support cloud database solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity, performance, connectivity, and security issues. Recommend and implement improvements to systems and processes. Create and maintain database documentation, policies, and standards. Integrate databases with the Enterprise DevOps CI/CD pipeline. Domestic travel up to 5%.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- At least 3 years of experience in Database Administration or a related field.

- Experience with database design, scripting languages such as Python and Bash.

- Experience migrating applications/databases to AWS, using infrastructure automation and deployment tools like Terraform.

- Experience with CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins.

- Experience setting up and configuring database management systems like Couchbase, MongoDB, Cassandra, DocumentDB, and DynamoDB.

- Knowledge in designing and implementing database structures such as JSON documents, indexes, views, full-text search indexes, and analytics datasets.

- Experience implementing security measures like user access controls, encryption, and auditing to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
