Job summary

Revolutional is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer in Suitland, MD (Hybrid) to drive end-to-end systems engineering across a large federal modernization program, coordinating across teams and ensuring secure, scalable cloud-enabled solutions.

You will translate designs into executable plans, manage complex requirements, and lead DevSecOps initiatives across AWS/Azure environments while collaborating with architects, data engineers, and leadership.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust
• 15+ years of systems engineering, integration, or technical leadership experience
• Experience supporting large-scale IT systems or modernization programs
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across DTAM program systems engineering efforts
• Translate architectural designs into actionable engineering plans and execution
• Define and manage system requirements, interfaces, and integration points
• Lead system integration across applications, data platforms, and cloud environments
• Ensure systems meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements
• Mentor engineering teams and enforce systems engineering best practices
• Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices and automated testing
• Coordinate with architects, developers, data engineers, and program leadership
