Job summary

Karsun Solutions, LLC is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to drive modernization from legacy to cloud-native, microservices usage, and AI/ML integration. You will set the technical vision, build consensus among IT leadership and stakeholders, and lead hands-on modernization across teams.

The role requires deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, security compliance (FISMA/FedRAMP), and DevSecOps practices, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• 15+ years of software architecture and development experience with proven track record leading modernization initiatives.
• 7+ years of microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, distributed patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and multi-year roadmaps for modernization and cloud-native architectures.
• Lead design and implementation of microservices, APIs, event-driven patterns, and containerization.
• Design and deploy ML models and data pipelines using Python and ML frameworks; explore AI-assisted development tools.
