Job summary

Deloitte GPS in Arlington, VA is seeking a Project - Lead Cloud Integrated Infrastructure Engineer II for the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team to design, build, and sustain cloud infrastructure supporting federal government systems.

The role requires leading Linux and AWS environments, directing patching and maintenance, and coordinating with clients and security teams to ensure compliance and reliable operations. On-site work 100% in Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of Linux administration experience.
• 3+ years of AWS administration experience.
• Experience leading infrastructure operations or engineering workstreams.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• Ability to work onsite 100% of the time in Chantilly, Virginia.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and sustainment of cloud infrastructure supporting government financial systems.
• Oversee Linux-based environments and AWS infrastructure to meet performance and availability targets.
• Direct infrastructure updates, patching, and system maintenance in secure client environments.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for cloud and infrastructure production support.

Work you'll do

As a Project - Lead Cloud Integrated Infrastructure Engineer II on the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the design, build, and sustainment of cloud infrastructure supporting financial business systems for government clients
• Overseeing Linux-based environments and Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure to support performance, availability, and operational requirements
• Directing infrastructure updates, patching, and system maintenance activities in secure client environments
• Leading troubleshooting efforts, root cause analysis, and resolution of cloud and infrastructure production support incidents
• Coordinating with client, engineering, and security stakeholders to support deployments, compliance activities, and infrastructure improvements

Qualifications
