Job summary

Deloitte GPS is hiring for a Cloud Architect role in the Tampa, FL area. The candidate will administer cloud infrastructure, support migration projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, resilient operations across the delivery lifecycle.

Required: Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years in cloud design, and an active Secret security clearance. Prior experience with MS Azure Cloud Services is essential; the role emphasizes independence, leadership, and effective communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer cloud infrastructure for migration, transition, and ongoing operations using cloud-native tools and infrastructure-management capabilities.
• Configures and maintains compute, storage, networking, identity and access, monitoring, backup, recovery, and server resources; supports infrastructure-as-code and automation practices; validates readiness for migration and cutover activities.
• Collaborates with Cloud Sys Admin Lead and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement changes, document configurations, and manage infrastructure dependencies.
• Identifies availability, performance, security, capacity, and operational risks early.
• Provide reliable cloud infrastructure support across the delivery lifecycle.

Work You’ll Do
