Job summary

Korn Ferry Group in Plano, TX seeks a GCP Design Engineer to design and implement IAM solutions in a cloud-first fintech context. You will build Identity and Access Management infrastructure using Terraform, and apply least-privilege principles to protect workloads and service accounts.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive automation, and contribute to Kubernetes-related initiatives as the environment evolves.

Qualifications

We have partnered with our client in their search for a GCP Design Engineer in Plano, TX

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer GCP Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Develop and maintain cloud identity infrastructure using Terraform.
• Design IAM solutions following least-privilege principles.
• Work with service accounts, workforce identity, workload identity, federation, custom roles, deny policies, and IAM conditions.
• Analyze technical requirements and recommend appropriate IAM solutions and design approaches.
• Contribute to solution design and make informed technical decisions based on practical GCP IAM experience.
• Independently drive assigned initiatives and collaborate with other engineers to complete deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.
• Identify potential issues with proposed solutions and recommend better technical approaches.
• Support the team's continued transition toward greater automation.
• Contribute to Kubernetes-related initiatives as the environment evolves.
• Utilize Python or Go for automation-related development as needed.
