***The location for this position is McLean, VA (Position allows full remote work from anywhere in the U.S.)***

What will I be doing?

Responsible for engineering Hilton's cloud infrastructure, platforms, service estate, resolving escalations from the business, and operations teams. Drive efforts around infrastructure such as coding, automation, and platforms support. Support essential internal and external operations in the areas of renovations, mobile platforms, room availability, financial, other corporate systems, and DevOps. Manage a robust project pipeline, consult business and application teams on existing and new cloud patterns, and build solutions using infrastructure as code tools and processes. Create detailed engineering documentation using Atlassian-based tools and use ServiceNow to respond to production incidents. 5-10% travel within U.S. (typically Memphis office)

Requirements:

Requires Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in Cloud development engineering or a related position. Must possess experience in multiple public cloud operations with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Alicloud; utilizing programming languages such as Bash, Python, GO, HCL, and JSON; using Infrastructure as Code tool Terraform; and configuring JIRA - hosted and local instances for issue tracking, workflow collaboration, and tool-chain automation.

SALARY: $140,000 to $155,000 / year
