Job summary

Nebius is hiring a Detection Engineering & Response Lead to build and run the D&R capability from the ground up. You will own detection engineering, threat intelligence, and incident response for Nebius Cloud and lead a small team of analysts and engineers.

This lead role handles detection development, complex security incidents, forensics, and shaping the D&R strategy while coordinating with Compliance and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response.
• Deep hands-on experience with cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, Linux, container-based infra).
• Strong detection engineering skills: writing and tuning rules in SIEM platforms and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead detection development to achieve full MITRE coverage and low false positives.
• Architect and operate detection coverage across cloud and bare-metal environments.
• Lead incident response end-to-end: scoping, containment, root-cause analysis, post-incident reviews.
• Define and report on D&R metrics and maintain IR program.
