Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a lead architect to drive critical HPS/MBSS 2026 initiatives, including Active/Active Cloud and Gateway Modernization, in support of new business. The role requires E2E architecture leadership, on-prem and AWS cloud expertise, and strong security knowledge.

The candidate will guide integration services, payments networks, and data security, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years financial services industry experience
• 3+ years of experience in integration services programming and Architecture
• 2+ years proven experience in delivery innovated and newer trends in payments / financial networks
• Knowledge of Payments data/object/service models
• Knowledge of HSMs and security models
• Knowledge of network integration with 3rd party networks including ACH, RTP and Card Networks
• Effective Communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to document processes and platform architecture into sustainable documents
• Plan, develop, organize, build and test service and API integration services
• Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
• Strong use of visuals skills, ability to convene points with graphics and illustrations
• Ability to simplify complex information
• Strong attention to detail
