Job summary

Vanguard seeks a Lead Agentic AI Engineer to drive design, development, and delivery of cloud-native data and AI solutions for enterprise communications and digital experiences.

The role partners with product and engineering teams to advance AI-enabled search, content discovery, and knowledge access, leveraging AWS Bedrock, LLMs, and RAG architectures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least two years of development experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing solutions on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience building Generative AI applications using AWS Bedrock, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end ETL processes across diverse workflows, with the ability to guide the team with AWS data services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, and Amazon Athena.
• Experience integrating cloud and AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
