Job summary

Vanguard seeks a Lead Agentic AI Engineer to shape the next generation of AI-powered experiences across Corporate Communications and enterprise platforms. You will combine cloud/data engineering with Generative AI to enhance search, automation, and knowledge discovery, influencing architecture and technical strategy.

You will lead design, implement, and govern AI/cloud solutions, mentor teams, and ensure security, reliability, and performance across initiatives.

Qualifications

Eight+ years of related work experience with at least two years in development.
Experience designing and delivering on AWS with cloud-native architectures.
Proficiency in Python, Java or Node.js and CI/CD practices.
Hands-on experience building Generative AI apps using Bedrock, LLMs, RAG.
Able to mentor and lead engineering teams in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of cloud, data, and AI solutions for the enterprise.
Develop Agentic AI applications using Bedrock, LLMs, RAG, and orchestration.
Design intelligent search and knowledge retrieval across enterprise content.
Build data pipelines and cloud-native data platforms on AWS.
Create reusable services, APIs, automation, and IaC pipelines.
Drive architectural decisions and best practices across cloud/AI efforts.
Mentor engineers and ensure security, governance, and performance.
