Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer to lead physician informatics initiatives and drive data-driven improvements in clinical operations, quality, safety, and patient experience.

The ACMIO will oversee EHR optimization, clinical decision support, and system design while partnering with IT, nursing, quality, and analytics teams to advance interoperability and clinician engagement. A clinical practice in the physician's specialty is maintained.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Clinical Informatics.
• Epic Physician Builder certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead optimization of clinical information systems and EHR configuration.
• Oversee governance for EHR decision support and system design.
• Advance interoperability with regional and national partners.
• Engage clinicians to participate in system improvement.
• Collaborate across IT, nursing, quality, and operations to align workflows.
