WellMed Medical Management is seeking a Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) in Texas to advance clinical information systems, digital health solutions, and value-based care initiatives. The CMIO will lead the Clinical Informatics program, govern the EHR platform, and collaborate with clinical and IT leaders to improve patient outcomes and clinician experience.
The role requires an MD/DO with Texas licensure and 5–10 years of clinical informatics leadership, plus experience with EHR
Qualifications
- MD/DO or MBBS degree with medical license in Texas
- 5–10 years of clinical practice leadership in informatics or healthcare technology
- Experience leading EHR optimization and enterprise technology initiatives
Responsabilités
- Lead the WellMed Clinical Informatics program
- Oversee EHR governance and platform optimization
- Provide executive oversight of clinical applications and interoperability initiatives
- Drive adoption, usability, and workflow improvements across clinical teams
- Lead change management and education for technology deployment
- Develop business cases for technology investments and operational excellence
- Collaborate with IT, Operations, Quality, Population Health, and Risk Adjustment teams
- Present outcomes to executive leadership
