Advanced Recovery Systems is seeking a Lead Clinician for the Washburn House addiction treatment center in Worcester, MA. The role supports clinical programming and helps drive best practices across the facility.

The position requires a Master's Degree and independently licensed LICSW or LMHC in MA, with responsibilities including supervision of staff, documentation audits, and delivery of group therapy. Expect an 80% caseload alongside multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Independently licensed LICSW or LMHC in MA.

Responsibilities

• Assists Clinical Director in developing effective clinical programming and ensures staff compliance.
• Audits and completes documentation within required timeframes to ensure compliance with policy, state regulations, Joint Commission standards and Medical Needs Criteria.
• Provides substance abuse and co-occurring therapy interventions and de-escalation techniques to help patients meet treatment goals.
• Monitors group therapy sessions to ensure quality programming and curriculum compliance.
• Assesses patients for substance use disorders, risk to self or others, and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Provides group therapy.
• Manages caseload and caseload coverage for clinical team members.
• Reviews and signs off on documentation as directed by Clinical Director.
• Participates in crisis intervention with patients as needed.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team as needed.
