Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field.
• Massachusetts clinical licensure or credentialing as required.
• Experience in substance use disorder or co-occurring treatment services.
• Prior clinical supervision or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SUD treatment regulations and confidentiality (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2).
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and work within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical supervision and support to assigned counseling and direct-care staff.
• Provide regularly scheduled individual and/or group clinical supervision per requirements.
• Monitor the quality and appropriateness of SUD treatment services in ATS and CSS.
• Review treatment plans, progress notes, assessments, and discharge documentation for quality and compliance.
• Coach staff on documentation, treatment planning, boundaries, and client care.
• Ensure compliance with Massachusetts DPH/BSAS requirements and applicable regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2 compliance.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and case reviews.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, case management, and admissions to promote coordinated care.
• Identify deficiencies and implement timely corrective action.
• Assist with chart audits, QA activities, and regulatory surveys.
• Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing feedback on competency and productivity.
• Escalate significant concerns to Clinical Director or Program Director.
