Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of hospital or related experience required.
• RN license in state of practice required.
• MD and DC CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care to our patients.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions or equivalent (infusion, dialysis, or critical care).
• Work autonomously in various clinical settings.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses from different hospitals for therapeutic treatments.
• Train clinical apheresis staff and assess procedure performance.
• Use clinical judgment to ensure safe apheresis treatments.
• Act as a clinical consultant for patient treatment planning.

Job Description

Vitalant is seeking a Lead Registered Nurse dedicated to making a positive difference. You will play a pivotal role in supporting Vitalant's life-saving mission by conducting advanced clinical procedures, which encompass therapeutic apheresis procedures including stem cell, granulocyte, and lymphocyte collections, all while operating under the supervision of a licensed physician.

Schedule: Days (on call rotation)

Location: 3565 Ellicott Mills Drive, Ste 102, Ellicott MD

Travel: MD and DC rotation

Base Wage

$83,491.20 - $100,000 (depending on relevant experience)

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing required.

• Knowledge of rationale and techniques relating to assigned duties required.
• 2 years of previous hospital experience or related experience required.
• RN license in state of practice required.
• MD and DC Current CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
