Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of clinical research or healthcare experience.
• Experience in gastroenterology, hepatology, or cardiology preferred.
• CCRC® or CCRP® certification preferred.
• Proficiency with CTMS and EDC systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage industry-sponsored clinical trials from study start-up through closeout.
• Manage complex visit schedules and protocol-related activities to meet timelines.
• Lead patient recruitment and retention with chart review and consent discussions.
• Conduct protocol-required patient visits and assessments per protocol, GCP, and SOPs.
• Perform protocol-required clinical procedures including vital signs, ECGs, specimen handling, and phlebotomy as permitted.
• Process laboratory specimens and shipments per protocol and IATA regulations.
• Maintain study documentation and data queries per sponsor timelines.
• Serve as primary contact for study participants and communicate with sponsors/CROs.
• Prepare for sponsor visits, audits, and inspections; ensure safety reporting and investigator review.
• Maintain inventory of study equipment and investigational products onsite.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance site performance and patient experience.
