Job summary

APAIT, a Los Angeles–area community-based organization, seeks a Clinical Program Manager III for its Hollywood housing unit. You will lead day-to-day operations, clinical implementation, crisis management, and supervision of behavioral health staff, interns, and volunteers.

The role emphasizes contract compliance, data quality, and coordination with DMH and treatment teams. Evening/weekend flexibility and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed or registered with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) with preference for near-licensure.
• Experience coordinating county-funded social services (health, mental health, housing).
• Current active BBS registration in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise behavioral health staff, interns, and volunteers.
• Oversee program operations: recruitment, retention, terminations.
• Implement evidence-based practices in the program.
• Manage data collection, chart reviews, and contract quality assurance.
• Lead regular team meetings to ensure contract compliance and goals.
• Provide clinical counseling, group support, case management, and co-facilitation of workshops.
• Conduct client follow-ups as appropriate.
• Aim for 85% completion of program scope of work.
• Maintain care team protocols and policies under clinical supervision.
• Conduct community outreach and engagement with prospective clients.
• Promote access to psychosocial and behavioral health services.
• Prepare program documentation and reports.
• Oversee facilities maintenance and supply purchasing with Property Manager.
• Liaise with DMH and outside agencies regarding treatment.
• Coordinate with treatment teams and provide crisis response.
• Attend unit, case conferences, agency, and community meetings.
• Perform other duties to meet objectives.
• Lead recruitment, retention, and evaluation of staff; annual evaluations.
