Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a lead Clinical Pharmacology scientist in the United States to conceive and drive PK/PD programs across multiple trials, including Phase 1–4, and translate regulatory advances into development strategies. This role emphasizes collaboration with CPPM and regulatory partners to advance oncology, immunology or neuroscience programs.

The candidate will require a PhD with extensive PK/PD/Pharmacometrics experience, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to influence

Qualifications

• PhD with 0+ years or PharmD with 2+ years in a relevant field.
• Advanced degree with expertise in PK/PD or Pharmacometrics is expected.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical development by supporting Phase 1–4 studies including study design and pharmacology strategy.
• Author regulatory documents such as protocols, study reports, population PK, and exposure–response analyses.
• Conduct data analyses including non-compartmental analyses, modeling and simulation.
• Participate and present at departmental and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with CPPM and regulatory teams to provide unified clinical pharmacology input.
• Author scientific publications and present at conferences.
