Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Clinical Programs Pharmacist Lead to autonomously develop, implement, and manage strategies enhancing Medicare members’ medication adherence and appropriate use.

You will operate with minimal supervision while guiding complex clinical decisions within a collaborative Pharmacy Stars team. The role requires PharmD or RPh, active licensure, 5+ years in managed care or pharmacy-related settings, and strong data-driven decision making and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Required: PharmD or RPh from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacy licensure.
• 5+ years of clinical experience in managed care or pharmacy related field, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Strong ability to facilitate cross-team collaboration and project leadership.
• Strategic thinking, planning, and organized, detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage clinical program strategies to improve Medicare members' medication adherence and appropriate medication use.
• Provide independent judgment on complex issues and work with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Stars team to drive patient safety and program outcomes.
