Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK seeks a Pharmacy Clinical Pharmacist Operations Specialist for day shift, full-time. The role oversees the daily operations of operational specialty practice areas within the pharmacy and provides pharmaceutical care to patients as needed.

Applicants must have a B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy, 3+ years in hospital pharmacy, and an active pharmacist license. BLS and EMR/Microsoft Office experience are required.

Qualifications

B.S. or Pharm D. from ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
3+ years of hospital pharmacy experience.
Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.
Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of operational specialty practice areas (IV room, diversion/narcotics management, informatics, residency program director/coordinator, and others) within the pharmacy department.
Provide pharmaceutical care to patients as a staff pharmacist as needed.
Provide user support, perform maintenance activities and troubleshooting, monitor functionality, and ensure policies are documented and followed.
Coordinate upgrade testing activities and education; serve as the SME for the operational specialty area.
