Job summary

PTC Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Manager, Clinical Operations to lead and oversee clinical trial execution across multiple phases in the US. You will manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional delivery with CROs and internal partners.

This role emphasizes leadership, strategic oversight, and hands-on operational excellence to ensure trials meet quality, regulatory, and patient-centered goals while supporting inspection readiness and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field required; 7+ years in clinical research or related environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and global trial regulations.
• Experience leading clinical operations and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support the operational execution of Phase I–IV clinical trials, depending on study complexity and program needs.
• Serve as Lead Clinical Trial Manager for assigned studies, with responsibility for timelines, strategy and deliverables.
• Oversee study start-up, conduct, and close-out activities.
• Provide oversight of CROs and service providers to ensure delivery per agreements and study requirements.
• Monitor study metrics and risk, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
