Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assigns and reviews work in a clinical laboratory unit; trains staff; assists in evaluations and disciplinary matters.
• Performs microbiological, hematological, chemical, parasitological, mycological and serological tests with manual/automated instruments.
• Maintains quality control records and performs instrument preventive maintenance; troubleshoots lab operations.
• Interacts with management to discuss changes, problems, and trends; may lead special projects.
