IQVIA Laboratories in Valencia, CA seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Lead for Automated Chemistry. This role provides technical leadership, ensures accurate results, mentors staff, and leads process improvements in a clinical lab setting.

The position supports Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and requires a CA CLS license, a BLS degree, and 4 years of relevant experience. Adherence to GCP and quality standards is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Laboratory Science, Clinical Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• California State Clinical Laboratory license required.
• 4 years of relevant lab or clinical trials experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership and scientific expertise for automated chemistry testing in a clinical lab.
• Mentor staff, provide guidance on techniques, and train junior staff.
• Lead troubleshooting, process improvements, and LEAN 6S initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, GCLP, QC and safety standards.
• Identify irregularities affecting test results and notify supervision.
• Analyze metrics, identify trends, and oversee improvement projects.
• Support training and competency assessments; may serve as Supervisor when qualified.
• Adhere to ICH E6 Good Clinical Practice.
