Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Fort Bragg, CA is seeking a Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist to supervise laboratory personnel and oversee all testing processes. The role requires a CLS license in CA, strong QA/QC background, and experience with regulatory standards.

The Lead CLS will develop policies, ensure accreditation readiness, and coordinate safety, training, and instrument maintenance, while managing staffing for 24/7 coverage depending on departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or a related field is required.
• Five years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Two years of leadership experience preferred.
• Valid CLS license in state of employment (CA) required; ASCP or NCA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees laboratory testing and coordinates POCT operations.
• Ensures accuracy/validity of test results and maintains QA/QC programs.
• Provides leadership and staff development for laboratory personnel.
• Ensures compliance with CLIA, FDA, CAP, JC, AABB, and OSHA standards.
