Job summary

Berkshire Medical Center leads a pivotal clinical laboratory role at the Fairview Hospital site. The Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist oversees daily operations, ensures quality and regulatory readiness, and liaises with physicians and nursing staff to promote high-quality patient care.

The position supports staff training, competency assessment, LIS/HIS management, and education of Medical Laboratory Science students under supervision.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in an approved laboratory.
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and HIS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations, staff performance and quality standards.
• Support personnel training, competency assessment and regulatory readiness.
• Maintain LIS functions and participate in student education.
