Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Cytogeneticist in Albuquerque to perform clinical interpretations of cases in karyotyping and FISH and to provide consultation to the medical community and TriCore clients.

The role requires a Ph.D. in a relevant field, at least three years of progressive clinical laboratory experience, and ACMG Board Certification as a Clinical Cytogeneticist. Schedule is Monday-Friday with additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant field is required.
• Three (3) years progressive experience in a clinical laboratory.
• ACMG Board Certified as a Clinical Cytogeneticist.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical interpretations of cases in karyotyping and FISH.
• Provide consultation to the medical community and TriCore clients.
• Sign out clinical cases in concert with pathologist Medical Director.
• Participate in Abnormal Case Review when requested.
