Job summary

Myadlm is seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee Chemistry and Hematology Labs in Davis, CA. The role includes day-to-day supervision, QA/QC program management, and technical LIS integration for clinicians and researchers across the campus community.

The candidate will establish quality systems, validate new tests, generate reference intervals, and collaborate with the Lab Manager to ensure rigorous QA/QC across testing platforms.

Qualifications

• CLS license issued by CA Dept. of Public Health.
• Experience in human or veterinary clinical diagnostic labs.
• Experience establishing reference intervals for hematology/chemistry.
• Experience implementing QA/QC programs including Westgard Rules.
• Experience writing/reviewing SOPs.
• Supervisory skills to recruit, hire, train, and motivate staff.
• Skills to implement new test methods and analyzers with validation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations in Chemistry and Hematology Labs.
• Provide technical support for LIS integration for clinicians and researchers.
• Establish and oversee QA/QC programs and quality systems.
• Collaborate with Lab Manager on test validation and reference intervals.
• Communicate with faculty, researchers, and staff.
