The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Climbing Arborist Crew Leader to direct a skilled team of tree care professionals in Rochester, MN. The role combines hands-on fieldwork with crew supervision, safety oversight and client service in diverse settings.

You will lead pruning, cabling, removal of hazards, and implement H.O.P.E. planning while mentoring teammates through Davey Career Development Program. Office is outdoors, daily field experiences and safety-first culture define this role.

Formación

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist ®, ISA Certified Tree Worker ®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional ®

Responsabilidades

• Directs crew members and equipment and plans and executes assigned work.
• Lead a crew in arboricultural care for clients.
• Follow Jobsite Hazards, Obstacles, Plan, Equipment (H.O.P.E) process.
• Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood in the tree canopy.
• Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
• Removal of hazardous trees.
• Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.
• Maintain, prepare and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts.
