Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to work outdoors and enjoy tree care activities.
• Completion of safety and orientation programs is mandatory upon hire.
• Preferred certifications in arboriculture are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead a crew in providing arboricultural care for clients.
• Safely climb trees using appropriate climbing systems.
• Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment such as chainsaws and chippers.

Skills

Love of the outdoors

Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program

Ability to complete First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course

Education

Relevant pesticide and related licenses
