Job summary

Cooley LLP in Santa Monica is seeking an Associate Director of Client Initiatives to join the Marketing and Client Development team. The role focuses on advancing client insight, segmentation, and strategic growth initiatives that support business development and elevate the client experience.

You will lead priority programs, supervise direct reports, and collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, and firm leadership to turn insights into actionable actions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of directly relevant exempt-level experience in marketing or business development, with 4+ years in management.
• Experience building executive-ready dashboards in data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Strong proficiency in data manipulation to evaluate quantitative metrics and qualitative sentiment.

Responsibilities

• Lead client listening and feedback efforts to surface opportunities for the firm.
• Scale win/loss and market insight programs to inform growth.
• Translate insights into actionable steps for Business Development and Marketing leadership.
• Design and manage national programs and account development frameworks.
• Establish governance and repeatable processes to standardize client initiatives.
