Job summary

Cooley seeks an Associate Director of Client Initiatives to join the Marketing and Client Development team. This role advances client insight, segmentation, and strategic growth initiatives that support business development and elevate the client experience.

You will design and lead national programs, establish governance, and create templates and playbooks to translate research into actionable steps for BD, Marketing, and firm leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years in marketing or business development focusing on client initiatives.
• Experience building executive-ready dashboards and insight reports.
• Strong leadership and team mentorship capabilities.
• Ability to translate client insights into strategic actions.
• Familiarity with CRM and survey platforms (Salesforce, Qualtrics).

Responsibilities

• Lead client listening initiatives to gather feedback and surface growth opportunities.
• Scale win/loss and market insight programs to inform strategy.
• Translate research findings into actionable steps for BD and Marketing.
• Design and manage national client initiatives and account development frameworks.
• Establish governance, templates, and tools for consistent execution.
• Monitor impact and refine strategies based on results.
