The Lead Cleaner is responsible for providing direction, motivation, and guidance to a team of cleaners.
Essential Functions :
- Conduct quality improvement inspections within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Ensure quality and satisfaction levels meet or exceed expectations.
- Maintain the highest quality of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with training and development of staff.
- Provide guidance on safety, cleaning processes, procedures, and chemical usage to the cleaning crew.
- Counsel crew members regarding tardiness, absenteeism, and work performance, using proper documentation procedures.
- Lead and participate in teams to ensure successful completion of tasks.
- Manage shift operations in the absence of the Supervisor.
- When the Supervisor is present, direct smaller work groups as needed.
- Assist the Supervisor and Shift Manager in supervising field employees.
- Report performance issues to the Supervisor, as disciplinary authority is not granted.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership and direction to team members.
- Facilitate open communication between field employees and management.
- Offer positive coaching to team members.
- Assist with training new hires and scheduling work assignments.
- Assist in creating daily and weekly work schedules.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned buildings.
- Manage keys and access cards for the property.
- Report damaged, broken, or out-of-service features/items.
- Ensure premises are secured at all times.
- Oversee additional service requests in the assigned building.
- Coordinate with the Area Manager to schedule jobs with the Property Manager and cleaning crew.
- Coordinate scheduling of the cleaning crew.
- Supervise quality of work and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
- Train all new hires assigned to the building.
- Participate in all meetings and training sessions related to the property and crew.
- Complete and validate timesheets and submit them to the office.
- Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Accurately complete order forms.
- Coordinate equipment usage and inventory.
- Perform all tasks and duties required of the team.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- At least 1 year of similar work experience.
Shift : 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM (Monday - Friday)
Hourly Pay : $18.00/hour
