Berkley North Pacific, Meridian, ID, seeks a Claims Technical Consultant to resolve highly complex commercial casualty claims and provide technical leadership within the claims organization. You will analyze policies, gather evidence, manage litigation, and mentor staff while ensuring accurate reserves and effective settlements.

Responsibilities include coordinating experts, maintaining data in systems, and delivering risk insights to business units.

Responsibilities

• Resolve highly complex commercial casualty claims at the highest authority levels.
• Provide technical leadership within the claims organization.
• Examine and analyze policies, contracts, and claim forms for coverage determinations.
• Investigate losses via various channels and gather supporting reports.
• Manage litigation by coordinating counsel, plans, and budgets.
• Enter data into claim systems for reporting and analytics.
• Mentor claims staff and present complex claims to leadership.
