Job summary

Kokosing Construction seeks a Lead Construction Design Engineer to develop temporary civil and structural designs for bridge and infrastructure projects. This role can be based in our Richmond, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD offices.

You will lead design engineers and CAD modelers, coordinate with field teams, and ensure designs meet safety, constructability, and code requirements while optimizing means and methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering field.
• Professional Engineer license in Virginia and/or Maryland.
• Minimum 10 years of design experience for temporary construction works on bridge/highway projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and review temporary construction engineering designs.
• Provide leadership to design engineers and CAD modelers.
• Coordinate project schedules and submittals.
• Represent company in client and project management meetings.
