Job summary

Cianbro is seeking a on-site lead supervisor to manage daily crew activities in heavy civil construction, ensuring safe, high-quality, cost-efficient outcomes aligned with project goals and client standards.

You will work closely with project supervision to coordinate resources, monitor productivity, and enforce schedules and budgets while applying strong leadership, planning, and technical expertise to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of heavy civil construction projects.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a heavy civil environment.
• Ability to read and understand contract and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Understand and align with the project schedule and budget.
• Coordinate production goals with project supervision and communicate quality specs.
• Record and report crew hours and quantities installed; monitor productivity.
• Analyze production results and take corrective actions as needed.
• Forecast resources and ensure availability for crew activities.
• Use Activity Planning to plan, organize and communicate details.
• Understand project cost code structure related to activities.
