Job summary

Sequoia Services LLC seeks a Heavy Civil Foreman to oversee daily on-site operations, including earthwork, grading, utilities, and concrete. You will lead field crews, coordinate plans, and enforce safety standards to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy civil construction with supervisory experience, reads blueprints proficiently, and holds OSHA 10/30 or related certifications. CDL is a plus, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in construction management preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in heavy civil construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
• CDL is a plus; valid driver's license required.
• Certifications in OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR or related areas are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators on-site.
• Coordinate daily work plans with project schedules and specs.
• Enforce site safety protocols per OSHA and company policies.
• Monitor work quality to meet project standards.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, superintendents, and stakeholders; submit daily progress reports and logs.
