Job summary

Qualifications
- Must be a Florida-registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- Capable of signing and sealing engineering drawings and documents per Florida Board rules.
- Experience in planning, design, construction, inspection and maintenance of public works facilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop construction plans and specs for roads, bridges, water systems, street lighting, parking and sewer systems.
- Review field surveys to develop information required for design and construction.
- Review plans for compliance with standards and prepare engineering reports.
- Develop cost estimates and supervise maintenance of traffic plans and related procedures.
- Supervise inspections of public works construction projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
