Qualifications

• > Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; licensed PE in NV or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• > Proficient in Civil Design & Grading (Civil 3D) and relevant engineering software.
• > Knowledge of Hydrology & Hydraulics (HEC HMS, HEC RAS) or Geotechnical Design (GeoStudio, Rocscience).
• > Valid driver's license; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and take professional ownership of projects in a technical capacity.
• Perform engineering work for industrial and mining projects.
• Direct project and technical workflows under supervision of a registered principal engineer.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Deliver designs, analyses, specifications, calculations, and technical reports for mining projects.
• Visit project sites for data collection, investigations, and construction inspection services.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and specialty engineering software to undertake designs and computations.
• Write memos and calculation packages documenting work performed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, scientists, and professional staff.
• Meet with clients and regulators to understand project needs and goals.
