Job summary

The Foth Companies seeks a Lead Civil Engineer to drive and expand our Civil Engineering practice across the Southeast. This senior role will act as technical lead on marine infrastructure modernization projects in the United States, with emphasis on Florida and the Southeast region.

Preference for candidates based in Jacksonville, FL, or elsewhere in Florida, and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions while maintaining high QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• PE license or ability to obtain licensure in applicable states
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in heavy civil engineering, infrastructure planning, design, and project delivery
• Experience developing and overseeing engineering deliverables, including studies, reports, plans, specifications, technical documents, and construction packages

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for infrastructure modernization projects across industrial, marine, waterfront, transportation, utility, and site development sectors
• Lead facility planning, infrastructure assessments, site investigations, alternatives evaluations, and engineering studies for capital investment and operations
• Perform technical engineering design for underground utilities, including sanitary and storm conveyance, and water distribution systems
• Provide QA/QC and engineering project activities for wastewater conveyance, including capacity analysis and sewer systems design
• Provide technical oversight across civil, structural, marine, environmental, mechanical, electrical, and planning disciplines
• Direct development and review of reports, design packages, specifications, construction documents, and deliverables
• Maintain knowledge of engineering standards, permitting requirements, and regulatory processes
• Promote innovative planning methodologies and delivery approaches to enhance outcomes and client value
• Collaborate with Technical Competency Leaders to strengthen firmwide technical excellence
