Tiello, a private real estate developer and builder, seeks a Project Civil Engineer for land development and site design in the Greater St. Louis area.

You will lead in-house projects from feasibility to construction, coordinating with architecture, engineering, and construction teams, and overseeing outside consultants. The role emphasizes hands-on Civil 3D design, municipal approvals, and delivering complete civil construction documents.

Qualifications

• PE license required or current in good standing.
• Extensive AutoCAD Civil 3D design experience.
• Background in commercial site design and land development.
• Experience preparing complete civil construction document packages.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.
• Experience with municipal permitting and approvals.
• Understanding of ADA accessibility requirements.
• Ability to independently lead day-to-day civil engineering activities.
• Strong technical, communication, and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual site layouts and feasibility planning.
• Commercial site design and land development.
• Site grading, drainage, and stormwater detention.
• Utility planning, design, and sizing.
• ADA compliance and accessible site design.
• Civil construction document preparation.
• Municipal approvals, permitting, and regulatory coordination.
• Coordination with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Construction administration, site visits, and field observation.
