Job summary

Tiello, a private real estate developer and builder, seeks a Project Civil Engineer for land development and site design in the Greater St. Louis area.

You will lead in-house projects from feasibility to construction, coordinating with architecture, engineering, and construction teams, and overseeing outside consultants. The role emphasizes hands-on Civil 3D design, municipal approvals, and delivering complete civil construction documents.

Qualifications

• PE license required or current in good standing.
• Extensive AutoCAD Civil 3D design experience.
• Background in commercial site design and land development.
• Experience preparing complete civil construction document packages.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.
• Experience with municipal permitting and approvals.
• Understanding of ADA accessibility requirements.
• Ability to independently lead day-to-day civil engineering activities.
• Strong technical, communication, and project coordination skills.

We`re seeking an experienced Project Civil Engineer who enjoys hands-on design while taking greater ownership of projects, technical decisions, and coordination with internal teams and outside consultants.

What We`re Looking For

• Bachelor`s degree in Civil Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including hands-on design experience
• Background in commercial site design and land development
• Experience preparing complete civil construction document packages
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design
• Experience with municipal permitting and approvals
• Understanding of ADA accessibility requirements
• Ability to independently lead day-to-day civil engineering activities
