Job summary

BKF in the Pacific Northwest seeks an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong Land Development background to lead project delivery, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior staff.

You’ll manage diverse land development projects, coordinate with clients and agencies, prepare drainage and utility plans, and ensure timely, on-budget results while upholding design standards.

A PE license is required (CA preferred); 7+ years’ experience and AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• PE license required (California PE preferred).
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in land development engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of land development projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, public infra).
• Prepare and oversee grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and roadway plans.
• Develop technical reports, studies, specifications, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, invoicing, and resource allocation.
