Job summary

Leoforce seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead a regional geotechnical group in Pittston, PA. You will manage geotechnical engineers, inspectors, and laboratory operations while mentoring staff and growing the project backlog.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• PA PE or ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and profitability.
• Experience leading and developing technical staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with clients, contractors, owners, and regulatory agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Geotechnical engineering experience.

• Experience developing geotechnical scopes of work and budgets.
• Experience preparing calculation packages for regulatory review.
• Familiarity with IBC, ASTM, AASHTO, and Pennsylvania testing standards.
• Demonstrated success developing client relationships and securing new work.
• Experience managing or overseeing a construction materials testing laboratory.
