Casella Construction is seeking a skilled Civil Construction Foreman to lead crews and manage operations on projects across Vermont and New Hampshire. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction and 2 years as a foreman.
• Thorough knowledge of excavation, backfill and underground piping/utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• High School Diploma or GED; valid driver’s license; OSHA 10/30 certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct daily operations on construction sites
• Supervise crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assist with daily and weekly planning of work activities
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and material needs to meet timelines and budgets
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety programs
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints
• Perform snow removal duties during winter months as needed
