Job summary

Learning Laughing and Growing Childcare Academy in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Lead Childcare Teacher to foster children's intellectual, emotional, and physical growth. You will plan developmentally appropriate activities and coordinate daily lesson plans.

The ideal candidate holds a current CDA, has at least two years of classroom experience, and is nurturing, patient, reliable, and creative. Strong communication with families and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a childcare teacher.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Must have a current CDA.

Responsibilities

• Plan engaging creative activities that are developmentally appropriate.
• Complete daily documentation for all children in care.
• Complete child assessments.
• Design a daily and weekly schedule/lesson plan with PA early learning standards.
• Provide basic care needs where appropriate.
• Evaluate children's progress toward developmental milestones.
• Communicate with parents and update them on activities.
• Demonstrate proper infection control measures.
• Attend all required training and staff development sessions.
