Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Lead Teacher or in a childcare/preschool setting.
• Knowledge of PA childcare regulations and early learning standards.
• Current clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal Background, FBI) or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age‑appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Monitor and document children's developmental progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and guardians.
• Ensure classroom compliance with state childcare regulations.
• Manage daily routines including circle time, meals, and nap time.
