Magnolia Ridge Child Development Center is seeking Lead Infant Teachers for infants and preschoolers. Positions run Monday-Friday with two shift options (8:30am-5:30pm or 8:00am-5:00pm).

Compensation ranges from $16 to $18 per hour based on education and experience, with a family-oriented workplace and opportunities for growth. Magnolia Ridge Child Development Center is a licensed childcare center seeking LeadTeachers to support the following age groups:

• Infants
• Preschool

To be QUALIFIED for the Lead Infant Teacher opportunity, we require a high school diploma, CDA or higher is required, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

Required Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:30pm OR 8:00am - 5:00pm

Our Hiring Process for Lead Infant Teachers:

1. Resumescreen
2. Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
3. On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities for Lead Infant Teachers:

• Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
• Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryout lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Useour parent communication appefficiently.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andmaintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
• Maintaina child assessment and portfoliofor each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
