Job summary

Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club in Coral Gables, FL is seeking a Full-Time Lead Childcare Attendant to lead the club's childcare program for children aged 2–15. You will supervise staff, plan activities, and provide a safe, engaging environment for members' children.

Experience running day camps, supervising staff, and CPR/First Aid certification are required; weekend availability is expected. We offer health insurance, a 401(k), PTO, staff meals, parking, golf privileges, and a waterfront

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years running day camps and planning programs for children ages 2–15.
Experience leading or supervising other staff preferred.
Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive supervision of all children in your care, ensuring safety and well-being.
Lead daycare programming, plan activities, and manage day camps.
Direct, train, and support part-time childcare staff on activities, safety, and service standards.
Coordinate staffing coverage with management based on member demand and events.
Greet families, communicate with parents at pickup, and create a welcoming experience.
Keep the childcare area clean, organized, and compliant with health standards.
